Dr. Erik Peper Ph.D

Professor of Holistic Health, San Francisco State University
Erik Peper, Ph.D. is an international
authority on biofeedback and self-regulation. He is Professor and
Director of the Institute for Holistic Healing Studies at San Francisco
State University and is the Director of the Biofeedback and Family
Therapy Institute in Berkley.
Dr Peper is the past president of the Biofeedback
Society of America (now AAPB) and the Biofeedback Society of California.
He was the team behavioural scientist for the United States Modern
Rhythmic Gymnastics Team. He was co-recipient of the National Media
Award from the American Psychological Foundation and the Nurses
Professional Associates and the Biofeedback Society of California.
He is the author and co editor of several books and has published
numerous research articles and developed software applications for
biofeedback. He is the co-author of Healthy Computing-a biofeedback
software protocol to reduce and prevent the risk of injury from
working with computers. His research interests focus on the psychophysiology
of healing, autonomic self-regulation, self control strategies for
healthy computing, optimum human functioning and respiratory patterns.
